These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the subscription service provided by biped robotics SA ("biped," "we," "us," or "our") for the NOA device and companion app.

Subscription Terms

The NOA subscription service requires:
• An upfront payment of €2899
• Recurring payments of €49 every month
• Maximum subscription duration of 48 months

Upon completion of the 48-month subscription period, the subscription will automatically terminate and you will retain ownership of the NOA device. No further payments will be required.

Alternatively, you may choose a one-time payment option of €4990 for full ownership of the device.

You can switch from monthly payments to a one-time payment at any time by emailing us at support@biped.ai. We will calculate the residual amount based on your remaining subscription period, which you can pay in one lump sum.

Payment Terms

By subscribing to NOA, you authorize biped robotics SA to automatically charge your designated payment method:
• The upfront payment of €2899 upon subscription initiation
• €49 every month thereafter
All charges are non-refundable except as expressly provided in these Terms.

Taxes and Additional Fees

All prices are exclusive of:
• Value Added Tax (VAT) applicable in your region
• Import duties and customs fees
• Shipping costs
• Headphones
• Any other local taxes or charges
These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be collected by the relevant authorities.

Device Damage and Warranty

The NOA device comes with a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use. The warranty does not cover:
• Accidental damage
• Water damage
• Unauthorized modifications
• Misuse or abuse
Any repairs or replacements required due to damage not covered by warranty will be charged to the customer at current repair rates.

Shipping and Return Costs

Please note that shipping costs are not included in the device price. Customers are responsible for:
• All shipping costs associated with device delivery and returns
• Proper packaging to prevent damage during return shipping
• Insurance for the return shipment
We recommend using a tracked shipping service to ensure safe delivery of returns.

Return and Refund Policy

We offer the following refund options:
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Within the first 30 days of receiving your NOA device, you may return it for a full refund of all payments made, including the upfront payment and any subscription fees.
2. Extended Return Option: After the initial 30-day period, you may return your device and receive a refund of the €2899 upfront payment. Subscription fees paid up to the return date are non-refundable.

To initiate a return, the device must be in good working condition and include all original accessories. Contact us at hello@biped.ai for return instructions.

Software Updates and Support

Your subscription includes:
• All software updates and improvements
• Technical support
• Access to all NOA companion app features

Subscription Termination

Your subscription will automatically terminate after 48 months. Prior to this, you may terminate your subscription by:
1. Returning the device (eligible for upfront payment refund)
2. Contacting customer service at hello@biped.ai

Device Ownership

Upon completion of the 48-month subscription period, full payment of all subscription fees, or making the one-time payment of €4990, you will retain full ownership of the NOA device. biped robotics SA reserves the right to disable services for devices with delinquent payment status.

Modifications to Terms

biped robotics SA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify subscribers of any material changes via email or through the NOA companion app. Continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
